Artist's Description

The original is framed. Spring Radiance, oil on canvas, is a painting I did for fun and relaxation. Hope you enjoy.

This flower has been given several common names: African daisy, South African daisy, Cape daisy and blue-eyed daisy.

Their alternate (rarely opposite) leaves are green, but some variegated forms exist. The leaf form is lanceolate. The leaf margin is entire, but hardy types are toothed.

About Candace Antonelli

Candace Antonelli

In one of the suburbs east of Dallas, Texas, Candace began her art journey with dry media, such as colored pencil, pen, graphite, pastel and charcoal in 2000. Inspired by the way light hits a child, the beautiful glistening seascape, the delicate flower, trees and landscape or the cuteness of a pet, Candace enjoys painting light and color that encourages good and positive emotions. Candace attended two years of drawing...
