The original is framed. Little Boy Blue, an oil on canvas, is a portrait of a child from a 1951 photo I found that I fell in love with. This little baby boy was so cute and to paint him was a pure joy.

In one of the suburbs east of Dallas, Texas, Candace began her art journey with dry media, such as colored pencil, pen, graphite, pastel and charcoal in 2000. By 2003, she began painting in oil, of which, as she expresses, is her favorite medium. Her artwork involves painting in oil on canvas or panel with brushes, palette knives, toothpicks and anything else that will provide the desired expression for the painting at hand, ranging from realism to a slightly looser style.
