Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Star gazing is one of my favorite ways to sense the greatness and beauty of our God’s creations. The peace and overwhelming love that I feel is so comforting, knowing how much He loves and cares for me. This acrylic painting is an attempted example of His glory and grace.
About Candace Antonelli
In one of the suburbs east of Dallas, Texas, Candace began her art journey with dry media, such as colored pencil, pen, graphite, pastel and charcoal in 2000. By 2003, she began painting in oil, of which, as she expresses, is her favorite medium. Her artwork involves painting in oil on canvas or panel with brushes, palette knives, toothpicks and anything else that will provide the desired expression for the painting at hand, ranging from realism to a slightly looser style. Inspired by the way light hits a child, the beautiful glistening seascape, the delicate flower, trees and landscape or the cuteness of a pet, Candace enjoys painting light and color that encourages good and positive emotions.
